If the business is happy to employ you the recruiter may shortlist your application and you will be notified automatically. If the business declines, you can see this in your profile in the "Applied Jobs" section. It will be labelled "Not selected".
In the "Applied Jobs" section you can always check the status of your application. If you have been shortlisted but have not yet received a message from the recruiter, it is a good idea to contact the recruiter yourself asking for additional information. This way you can also schedule an interview. Doing this will also demonstrate that your serious about the position!
When a recruiter believes you are a good fit for the job, they will shortlist you.

If a company sees that you have a low response time, you will not miss any opportunity, more likely getting shortlisted and being invited for an interview.
Employers get so many applications for their job offer that they sometimes cant reply to all. This means they probably haven't had the time to look over your application.
If you are really interested in the job you can try contacting threw our messenger. This will also show your seriousness about your interest in the job offer!!
Once you have applied to a job this cant be undone.
What you can do is send a message to the employer that you applied by mistake.
If you don't do this don't worry, if they contact you about the job just tell them you'r not interested or that it was a mistake.
