- Digitising hard copy records to be recorded onto the correct system.
- Preparing files for archive ensuring they are accurately recorded onto a central database.
- Recalling records from Archive to assist in Sensitive MOD cases.
- Maintaining the Contract Database ensuring the accuracy of data and archive of contracts.
- Conducting Archive checks.
- Ad hoc support to the Disclosure Executive Group, MAIRU team and line manager.
- Perform redactions for Official-Sensitive documents.
This role may require occasional Detached Duty within the UK.
Person specification
- Willingness to obtain Developed Vetting which is a strict condition of employment in the role.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of working in administration.
- Knowledge of IT including word-processing, PowerPoint, and spreadsheets required.
- Ability to use web authoring packages, or willingness to learn.
- Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to meet strict targets.
