A bit about the job:
You will be responsible for strategic partnering with Group Functions, providing regulatory compliance and conduct advice, guidance, and challenge in support of the achievement of the function’s objectives. You will collaborate with markets on the delivery of high impact regulatory programmes and assisting in developing policies and standards which support the firm’s regulatory responsibilities and strategic objectives while providing risk partnering services to Brand and Corporate Affairs, on behalf of Group Risk.
You will support the Head of Group Compliance, Conduct Policy and Advisory, and Group Compliance and Conduct Director such that the function operates effectively, adds value and makes a valued and trusted contribution across the organisation.
You will partner with Group Functions on all regulatory compliance and conduct related matters; providing pragmatic advice, guidance and challenge, and provide support to Market or divisional team, as required.
You will contribute to the development of relevant Group Policy and Business Standards including Conduct, Employee Conflicts of Interest, Managing Regulatory Change and Market Abuse, and the functional charter. These should be mindful of Group and Market priorities and responsibilities.
As part of the role you will developing and provide training on Compliance and Conduct topics, and to support understanding and embedding of Conduct policies, standards and frameworks.
Group Compliance and Conduct is a second line of defence function, within Aviva’s One Risk function. The role requires a curious mindset and a desire to work collaboratively across an exciting, dynamic group.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Regulatory compliance and conduct risk experience within an FCA regulated environment is essential.
Relationship building and collaboration skills; able to work constructively with and influence stakeholders.
Good programme and project management skills and experience.
Experience in developing policies, standards, frameworks and related training.
Curious, with a desire to work with data to generate new insights and facilitate more effective ways of working.

Starting salary between xx and xx (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
