Mission
The Telefónica Global Solutions USA Sales team is responsible for winning and looking after our biggest and most valuable customers around the world with HQ or business in USA. We create solutions from across Telefónica Global Solutions’ portfolio of products and services for major multinational clients.
Job duties
- Achieve assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts worldwide.
- Penetrate accounts and establish personal presence at the executive level in the US, in particular at the assigned portfolio of Accounts.
- Identify and close new accounts.
- Grow sales and revenues in existing accounts.
- Identify customer needs, proactively discuss about market trends and create customer discussion in a trusted advisor role to generate new leads and funnel.
- Transmit the customer’s needs inside the organization.
- To challenge the customer and Telefonica to create the best solution at the best price to win the opportunities.
- Coordinate and bring together all the right Telefonica parties to deliver a solution such as Pricing, Legal, Engineering, Provisioning, and International Services.
- Draw up offers with the partnership of the Pre Sales engineering team.
- Work with product marketing and pre-sales teams in presenting our product portfolio and customizing our value-added services to fit customer's IT Global Strategy.
- Complete strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
- Build strong relationships with customers at all levels. Build trust and loyalty with users, influencers, championsand C-level executives to retain and expand business opportunities.
- Supervisory duties: no.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, telecom/electronic Engineering, Marketing or related field.
- Familiar with techonologies in the IT, Security, Mobile, IoT, Telecomms, SW and Digital area.
- MBA would be a plus.

- Business Development- Develop unique ways to grow the business with your customer and provide solutions to management in the face of challenges.
- Strategic planning to achieve business objectives.
- Uncover customer opportunities and build a plan to convince them to “win” with our brand. Identify potential setbacks and develop and execute plan for each.
- Customer behaviour & preferences.
- Strong sales development. Do what needs to be done to win the business.
- Self management: candidate is senior enough to understand and manage the rol and the escalations when needed.
- Thorough Business Planning- think outside the box to find contingencies and ways to overcome obstacles.
- Resolves complex situations while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Effective communication, self- confidence and effective interpersonal skills.
Technical knowledge
- PC, Windows, Office 365, Salesforce
Experience required
- +10 years of experience in the Telecom/IT sector in Sales positions. At least 4 with multinational corporations as customers in USA.
- Experience with multinational markets, managing complex international projects.
Languages
- Fluent in English ( Spanish a plus).
Travel
- Domestic and some International travel will be required
Position location
- Miami as a first option but open to other locations in USA.
